Kadlin was a vampire for two hundred years before she had sex with one of her victims. She still isn’t very sexually active, though it’s almost always her victims she sleeps with.

Kadlin though younger is protective over who Klaus is in a relationship with or likes. It’s not that she thinks Klaus can;t handle himself but she no longer believes in love so she doesn’t trust relationships. Especially not the one’s Klaus is in.

As a girl Kadlin believed in love that is why she wished not to marry Kol just because her father had died, she believed in marrying some you loved, but after becoming a vampire she only believed in darkness. Kadlin had never been in a relationship and the only people she loves are the Mikaelson’s.

Kadlin never had the Hybrid curse put on her though she never had an interest in making hybrids, she wanted to stay hidden and she knew if she had made them Klaus would know right away there was another Hybrid.
